About
My research is concerned with the use of hot stone technology in prehistoric Ireland and the role it played in a settled landscape. It focuses on the excavated fulachtaí fia and related site types from infrastructural development over the last ten years or so in Ireland. A comprehensive catalogue of unpublished excavated sites is currently being compiled as part of a larger study of these water heating locations.
