Jenny Butler is a Folklorist at University College Cork's Folklore and Ethnology Department. She is currently completing her PhD thesis on Irish neo-paganism. She is also conducting an ethnographic project on fairy folklore similar to Ireland and Newfoundland, Canada. Her other research interests include mythology, religion, supernatural folklore, indigenous worldviews and cosmologies, ritual, festival and traditional medicine.
