About
My doctoral research focuses on the writings of Elizabeth Bowen (1899-1973), literary modernism and twentieth-century literary visuality.
I am an IRCHSS (Irish Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences) Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholar conducting a PhD at the School of English, University College Cork.
I hold a BA in English and History of Art and an MA in English (Irish Writing) from University College Cork. My MA thesis investigated religion and sexuality in the fictions of Kate O'Brien (1897-1974).
I have previously served on the editorial board of online postgraduate journal Aigne (http://publish.ucc.ie/aigne/home), in addition to working as an Assistant Lecturer in European Art History for Adult Continuing Education (UCC) and as English tutor to First and Second Year undergraduate students.
